Welcome to the ORIGINAL SIN Photographic Images CD.
As this multi-media presentation plays, you will see images and captions which can be saved to the hard drive of your computer.
++++++
This presentaion is best viewed with your monitor set to 16.7 million colors (True Color). The quality of the images will appear degraded on monitors which do not support this setting.
Some older computers may have difficulty saving the image files from within the presentation. If you experience problems you can access the images and the captions directly from the CD-ROM. Images are saved in the 'Images' folder, and captions in the 'Captions' folder.
++++++
To start the presentation:
The program will launch automatically upon loading the CD. If you wish to manually launch the presentation, double click on the 'Original_Sin.exe' icon.
Viewing and saving the images:
After the introduction, click on one of the images to view a full screen preview of that image with caption. Click on the 'SAVE' button to add to your selection of images to be saved to your computer.
When finished viewing the images and making your selection, click on the 'EXIT' button. You will be shown a full set of thumbnail images of all the images available to you. Click on any thumbnail to add or remove that image from your selection. When you are satisfied with your selection click on the 'SAVE & EXIT' button.
You will be shown the number of images you have selected, and the amount of free hard drive space required on your computer to save those images. By default a folder will be created on the desktop of your computer, and the images and their associated captions will be saved in that folder. You may choose another location on your computer to meet your particular requirements. After accepting the default location or choosing your own, high resolution files and their captions will be saved to your computer and the presentation will quit.
++++++
You may copy the high resolution TIFF files directly from the CD itself. Inside the 'IMAGES' folder on the CD there are high resolution TIFF files of all the images. Drag the entire folder, or select specific images from inside the folder, to your hard drive.
Fully formatted captions, in both MS Word and Adobe Acrobat 4.0 formats are located in the 'CAPTIONS' folder on the CD.
